I started experimenting with alcohol inks a few years back but because I didn’t have the necessary materials, they didn’t turn out very good.
It was unusually hard to get the typical alcohol inks brands like Tim Holtz and Pinatas in Singapore. I suspect there is import restriction on products containing alcohol here. Then I discover there are pricier alternatives like Copic refills but I still didn’t have the synthetic paper. It wasn’t until I visited Pigment Tokyo last year that I finally bought a block of synthetic paper.
